The Lake Oswego School District Foundation, which raises money to help add teachers to the district, has set a goal of $1.8 million for its annual campaign. The Foundation generated a little more than $1.6 million during the last fiscal year.
The Foundation is starting fresh this year with new faces on its executive board.
“The board has 10 new members this year, bringing great energy, enthusiasm, talent and experience to this year’s campaign,” said new Board President Linda Ganzini. “We hope to harness and develop the many ideas and innovations that parents, businesses, community members and our students are bringing to us.
“Though we are mindful of economic uncertainty, we also know that there is an enormous determination from our families to keep the quality of education in Lake Oswego at a high level. We are confident that our goal of $1.8 million this year is well within reach.”
