A passerby alerted firefighters to a Friday night blaze that heavily damaged a vacant Jean Road commercial building.
Firefighters from Lake Oswego and the Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue responded at about 8:23 p.m. to the building in a 23-year-old commercial center at 5895 Jean Road.
It took 26 firefighters about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
